Welcome, reader, to our Wizzcaster “Virus” removal guide. The following instructions will aid you in removing the unwanted software from your PC.

Have you ever heard of Wizzcaster “Virus”?

It is a piece of software that is programmed to display a great number of ads. Its ads might come in many various shapes and colors, they could be like boxes, banners, pop-ups or pop-unders. They may even represent whole new browser tabs. If your PC has been infected, such advertisements will appear every time you try to use your browser and load a website. No browser is immune to them, they can affect Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera and all other famous browsers. In fact, there are many programs that might cause the generation of a lot of ads and their common name is Adware. This is the term used to refer to all ad-generating software products. There are a few things you should know about Wizzcaster and about all Adware-like programs in general.

Wizzcaster is NOT a virus

To be completely precise, Adware has never been classified as malware. It’s logical, because it doesn’t possess the typical features that identify a program as malicious. For instance, Wizzcaster will produce many ads and will irritate you a lot. However, it can’t steal any personal data from your computer. Also, Wizzcaster might be able to review your browsing history and try to show only ads that are relevant to your recent search requests. Nevertheless, a typical malicious program like Ransomware, for example, will scan all your drives and will lock up all your favorite files. Some of the ads this Adware generates could redirect you to pages with suspicious content. However, such ads cannot copy your key strokes or turn on your web camera and record you, as some viruses do. You can now see the difference, can’t you?

The produced ads are actually legal

The desire of Wizzcaster to display so many ads could easily be explained with the strategy its developers use to build this program as well as all known Adware versions. This marketing tool is called PPC (pay per every single click on an ad). Basically, this is what happens when you are showered with ads, knowingly or unknowingly, you may click on some of them, you may even find some of them useful. That’s what vendors and programmers hope for.  The first are very happy when you purchase a product from them and pay the second ones even more to advertise that product ever harder.

However, the distribution of Wizzcaster might raise some concern…

Most of the popular Adware-based products are relatively harmless. However, they may still raise some concern when it comes to the way they are being distributed to the innocent users worldwide. To begin with, you can catch Wizzcaster practically everywhere on the Internet. You may get infected when you open a spam email, when you use a contaminated website, when you download a torrent. Still, there is one method that is considered the most successful way to spread Adware. It usually happens through a process called software bundling. During this process an Adware-type product is put together with another original program inside a bundle. The result from that process is called a software bundle and it can usually be downloaded free of charge.

When a user downloads and ventures into installing such a bundle, it is important for them to know that the proper installation habits can save you from a lot of different infections. The installation process should be completed via the most detailed step of the wizard (it could be ADVANCED or CUSTOM). In this way the user can choose what to install and what to avoid from the programs inside the bundle. All other installation wizard features are highly questionable as they will skip the part with giving you a choice and will install everything from the bundle by default.

The ads are too many and already unbearable… How can you remove the program causing them?
