In search of another way to make money, Russian Mafia has turned to hi-tech criminal activities, malware production in particular. It is believed that Russian Mafia controls most of the "malware creators" and is making them develop new forms of malware which can be used to steel money.
It is not a secret that most of the malware today has the same purpose , in this way or the other, so it is not a big surprise that some organized crime groups are turning to that source of income.
