We are starting a little comparison in which we will use Comodo Internet Security V4 Beta, other applications that we will use to compare CIS to will be A-SQUARED Anti-Malware, Avira AntiVir Premium and G DATA Antivirus.
We will perform 2 tests, in first one we will run an On Demand scan on 10.000 samples of malware (new), second test will involve malware cleaning as we infected the system with 15 samples of malware.
This test will show a clear picture of which direction Comodo Internet Security V4 is heading, we are also planning to test it in Real Time in the following days.

Regards,
Sveta

I'm curious on how CIS will do, as it's still a beta product and not polished yet. But I have this feeling it will do just fine. :)

Definitely looking forward to the cleaning function as there has been much talk about it, but no prove yet that it works ;).

best regards,
eXp

1. We are in final stages of our latest Rogue test, in this one we are attempting to prevent installation of 50 "unsafe" applications.

2. We are preparing samples for another small comparison test, Avast 5 VS. Competition, this test will be very similar to the one where we used CIS 4 beta, only difference will be in the amount of applications which we will use. Avast 5 will be compared to A-SQUARED, Avira, G DATA and Kaspersky. More details coming soon.
